| MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH PARTIAL EJECTION 5-16-09 @ 3:37 Susquehanna Fire was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on the Germantown Road. First arriving units on scene reported vehicle down over the bank into a culvert, one patient partially entrapped. Immediately a second rescue was requested - Windsor Fire was sent en route. Medic301 was also dispatched for the assist. Responding from Susquehanna was Rescue1, Engine 1, and Ambulance 1. Crews worked quickly to remove the patient from the wreckage. Command requested a helicopter for the patient to land at Susquehanna Schools. Engine 3 responded as well as Thompson 13 to set up LZ. Due to weather conditions, the helicopter was unable to fly so patient was transported by ground by Susquehanna A-1 and Medic301 to Wilson Hospital. Vehicle was removed by French's Auto. |
| OIL SPILL ON MEMORIAL BRIDGE 5-16-09 @ 9:11 SFD was dispatched for an Oil Spill on Veterans Memorial Bridge on the Oakland side. It was reported that there was a large slick of oil making for treacherous driving conditions. Susquehanna 12 was the first unit on scene reporting that there was roughly 1 gallon of oil spilled, spread by vehicles over a 50-60 foot area. Rescue 1 responded as well as Susquehanna Brush Truck. Traffic was diverted from the spill while crews applied speedy dry to the area. PennDot was notified as well as local EMA. |




| Susquehanna Fire Department will be hosting Medical First Responder followed by the Bridge to EMT starting June 29th. The course will run Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 6pm. This course will be open for Con-ed credits. | Mid Day Fire Proves Stressing 5-21-09 @ 12:44- Susquehanna Fire is dispatched for a structure fire - garage with endangered structures - Riverside Drive, Oakland Twp. Due to the time of day, manpower was short & on scene crews were struggling in the pre-summer heat. Command requested mutual aid for engines and manpower from Windsor, Great Bend Hose Co, and Thompson Hose and a BLS rig was requested from Great Bend/Hallstead Ambulance. New Milford Fire was dispatched to stand by at Susquehanna station. Fire was contained to the garage, garage was a complete loss. No injuries were sustained at the fire, all units were released and command was terminated at 14:37. |

| Traffic control for lost wheel 5-29-08 - Susquehanna Fire and Ambulance personnel dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving a car and truck hauling stone. First units on scene report no injuries or serious damage to either vehicle. Situation was reported as the stone truck lost a wheel and the wheel rolled into an on coming vehicle. Ambulance units obtained sign offs and fire personnel remained on scene for traffic control until the truck could take care of it's wheel issue. |
| Structure Fire Assist 5-29-08 @ 1:500 Susquehanna was dispatched to assist Windsor Fire Department with a fully involved structure fire. Engine 2 was requested directly to the scene to work water supply and provide man power for interior and overhaul. Engine 1 was asked to stand by at Windsor station. Due to our two trucks responding out of the area, Great Bend Fire was dispatched to send their pumper tanker to our station for stand by. Great Bend Pumper Tanker 4 responded. |
| Landing Zone for Geisinger Lifeflight 6-2-09 @ 19:08 Susquehanna Fire and Ambulance personnel are dispatched to set up a landing zone at the school for incoming Lifeflight out of Danville with a 30 minute ETA for air transport of a patient out of Barnes Kasson Hospital. Susquehanna E-1 & A-2 responded. |
| MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT 6-5-2009 @ 1930 Susquehanna Fire, EMS, and Barnes-Kasson ALS are dispatched for a 1 car motor vehicle accident - Roll over on the Starrucca Creek Road, Harmony Twp about a mile outside of Lanesboro. First units on scene are reporting the patient is laying in the roadway, vehicle over a small embankment into the trees. Patient did not appear to be ejected from the vehicle. EMS did a full on scene trauma assessment on the patient, fully immobilized her, and transported her to Wilson Hospital with Barnes-Kasson paramedic on board. Fire crews secured the scene and vehicle was removed by French's Auto. Responding apparatus: Rescue 1, Engine 1, and Ambulance 1. |


| LANDING ZONE FOR GUTHERIE AIR 6-7-09 @ 1:42 - Susquehanna Fire and Ambulance dispatched to set up a landing zone at Susquehanna Schools for incoming Gutherie Air. 20 minute ETA to fly a patient out of Barnes-Kasson Hospital. Susquehanna Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 responded. |

| ------------------------- Rehabilitation for Firefighters Working in Emergency Environments Wednesday July 8 @ 6:30pm - Susquehanna Fire Station This course is designed for fire and emergency medical personnel who are responsible for establishing and operating a rehabilitation area for firefighters and emergency service responders at emergency environments.
