| The Susquehanna Fire Department would like to congratulate Joe Adornato, Dave Passetti, Pat Frederick, Gene Perry, Kevin Kelly and Damion Scales on achieving thier Water Rescue Technician Level. After another year of training these members have achieved the highest level attainable in the PAFBC Water Rescue program. Since August of 2007 the Susquehanna Fire Department, Great Bend Fire Department, Hallstead Fire Department and one member from the Forest Lake Fire Department have been training hard to create or improve thier water rescue teams. Residence of the areas that these departments serve can be very proud. |

| Also as a result of the 2006 floods and all the Swift Water Rescue training one of our own has achieved his Water Rescue Instructor status. Our Swift Water Rescue Captain; Steve Frederick was sent to Butler County for a three day Instructor Training program. Since he has completed his training Steve has assisted with the Water Rescue & Emergency Response class that took place in Great Bend and in Hallstead. Steve has also conducted a Water Rescue Awareness class at the Susquehanna Fire Department and Forest Lake Fire Department. |
