| The Susquehanna Fire Department had a busy year in 2007. The fire department responded to a total of 178 calls. The ambulance service responded to 242 calls. |

| 2007 Special Awards: Awards were given to Les Schell and Sandy Battisti for all the years of leadership and dedication to the Susquehanna Fire Department Tribute Award for the many years of loyal and dedicated service and his many acts of heroism and courage to serve and protect his community and brother firefighters in both Fire and Emergency Medical Services to David Scales Sr. Fire Chief Award for an extrodinary act of heroism in the line of duty that prevented potential loss of a brother firefighter to Todd Glover for his couragous and selfish actions on April 14, 2007. Presented with the Life Saving Medal of Valor. Commendation of Merit for exemplary performance of basic life support skills in the field to Richard Hennessey, Jeremy Krall, Melissa Lankford, Damion Scales, Tonya Scales Awards of appreciation for dedicated service were given to Nancy Culnane and Michael Iveson |
